New Shirts!

Such a cute duck from Applique Cafe! For my future duck hunter... he has 2 pairs of pants to match this shirt (lime gingham and tricheck plaid).

Sweet ballet slippers to coordinate with big brother's duck! Also from Applique Cafe!

Princess from Planet Applique on a clearance sweatshirt!

Love how this pirate ship from Planet Applique looks on this gray sweatshirt. One of my little boy's fave shirts!

Love is in the air!

My skirt!!!! She already has several shirts to match.

Here are some of the Valentine's shirts that I have made. I made 2 pairs of pants for each of the boys shirts, too! The lab shirt would look cute with just about any bottom you find. I originally planned to make a pair of pants for my daughter's VDay shirt but I did not have enough fabric! I decided to use Sarah's Skort pattern but make an a line skirt insead. With a few pattern changes (and using directions on the waistband from the Campbell pattern), I have an absolutely adorable a line skirt complete with a ruffle! I am now making plans (in my head) to create a reversible skirt.

Starting up...

Sew... I have decided (against my better judgement) to start sewing for other people! After my sweet baby boy was born, I decided to learn to sew. Back then, I could not even sew on a button! I started with smocking, then general construction, and after having a girl- I tackled HEIRLOOM! Now, I have started to applique (soooo much fun)! I usually sew something each day!!! It is a wonderful hobby that other people (my children) benefit from.
